We have an Aquamax 10000 and I have read on another thread that I can control the output by changing the speed control but the instruction leaflet does not explain how to do this.

Dear Howard,
It is possible to control the flow rate of the Aquamax 10000 electronically using a speed regulator such as the OASE FM Master 3. There is not a built-in electronic regulator supplied with the pump. Of course you can also manually alter the flow rate by installing a valve inline between the pump and filter or waterfall for example.
