Hello Stefan, thank you for your response. I have no warrenty anymore, I bought this pump secondhand last year So probably costs for shipment and repair will be to high compared to value of pump. That's why I hoped I could fix it myself. Is there maybe an alternative running on solar energy?

Sorry for writing in English because my German is very bad... Yesterday when turning on the power on our Oase Aquamax ECO 8000 smoke appeared on the surface of our pond and a smell of burned electronics. Besides that the pump did not start. I removed the pump but can not see any damage on the outside but it does not function any more. Any suggestions from your side? Thank you for your help!
